Additional AFCAD and Taxiway Signage Update

An additional AFCAD and signage update by Richard Reed is available for this Abu Dhabi scenery.

The update introduces revised taxiway designations for Apron 4 and additional taxiway signs for Apron 4 and the north runway.

It also includes important changes to the original scenery's traffic and scenery configuration files.

Update: FS2004 Abu Dhabi AFCAD and Signs Update – Simviation

Installation

  1. Download the scenery archive.

  2. Extract the ZIP file into a temporary folder.

  3. Follow the included installation instructions.

  4. Add the scenery folder to the FS2004 Scenery Library.

  5. Restart the simulator and select Abu Dhabi International Airport (OMAA).

If you install the AFCAD and signage update, read its documentation carefully and back up the original files first.

Important Compatibility Note

This scenery was released specifically for Flight Simulator 2004 (FS9).

Final Thoughts

Abu Dhabi International Airport is an interesting addition to any classic FS2004 Middle East scenery collection.

Although the project is incomplete, it offers a glimpse of the airport during an earlier stage of its development. Combined with the additional AFCAD and taxiway signage update, it can provide a more detailed airport environment for classic flight simulation operations.

Enjoy exploring the skies over the United Arab Emirates!
